Some verses

I sit on the porch one chilly night

 My mind assembles new memories

My wounds are healing

The happy memories shine in my head

And I smile at the irony of it

A rug

Life is like a rug

made with stones on the border

and yarn in the middle

It is soft in the middle

full of beautiful memories

On the edges it is hard

There are thorns that make wince in pain

Crushed

Memories

photo-256889_960_720.jpg

I remember that day

It is crystal clear in my head

How we were laughing together

Your each smile

was a sparkle in my heart

That sparkle never died

although that smile faded away

Now all I do is cherish those memories

that are entwined with my every heartbeat

Crushed

Tell me, my tormentor

Is my only sin to love thy?

My heart blossomed when you were around

But why o’ why?

You crushed my happiness

with a stamp of a foot

All those beautiful memories,

you drained them down,

mercilessly you broke every vow,

silently you ended it all.

I will remember you

remembrance_day_poppy.jpg

If you go thousands of miles away

I will freeze your image

in my heart

All the memories I made with you

will stand still in my brain

Even when my hair turns grey

piece by piece

I  will remember you

I will run in the hot desert,

in the stormy night

just to get a glimpse of you

piece by piece

I will remember you

Gone

unnamed(3)

The crimson hue of the sun disappearing

The darkness invades

At the sea shore I stand

With tears running down my eyes

It was hard to say goodbye now

When all the cherished memories

were circling my head

But the fate is cruel

And the were gone

The waves up and down

The nightingale singing

The songs of loneliness
